Life Insurance: Myths About Families

Most individuals know how crucial life insurance is, especially when raising a family. Protecting your loved ones should be a main priority, and a great way to do so is through insurance plans. While many family members are starting to jump on the life insurance bandwagon, there are still some families that think the following myths are true:

Myths Vs. The Truth

The main myth individuals tend to believe is that only one member of a family needs to obtain life insurance. This is so false! The more individuals who have it, the better. Regardless of who makes more money in your family and who brings home a bigger income, both parties should be getting on board. As long as you are providing some sort of income to help your family strive, life insurance is calling your name. Imagine what would happen if you were to pass away suddenly, and you did not have this coverage? That source of income that you bring home every month will be gone, and your children will never see it again. Unless you are covered, your family can still be provided for with some of that monthly paycheck.

Another myth is that if you stay home with your children, cook and clean, etc., you do not need life insurance. FALSE. You are the primary individual who cares for your children and runs the show. If you were to pass away unexpectedly, who is going to do that while your spouse is at work? Aside from taking care of your children, what about your pets and elderly family members? Maybe these people rely on you heavily for support, and taking that away from them can leave them struggling. Having stay-at-home parents covered with life insurance will insurance even more protection then you can imagine.

Lastly, you may think that if you or your spouse have health problems, this insurance is either too expensive or too hard to reach. This is not necessarily true. Regardless of your health problems, if you are of good age, you can get a great plan for a good rate. Depending on how severe your condition is, ARG and Associates will be happy to assist you in finding a plan that’s affordable for you and your loved ones.
